Terms of Service
Last updated: October 15, 2026.
These Terms govern your use of this website and any services you buy from Dr Addy Studio (“we,” “us,” “our”). By sending a project brief or paying for a service, you agree to them.
1. Our services
- We provide AI video production, AI-assisted images and website design and development.
- The exact scope, length, deliverables and timeline of each project are set out in your quote or package.
- If this page and a signed written agreement conflict, the signed agreement controls.
2. Quotes, packages and payment
- Starting prices are shown on our Pricing section. A quote we send you confirms the final price for your project.
- Packages cover the items listed for them. Anything outside the listed items, such as a longer video, is quoted separately.
- Payment is due in full before work begins, unless your quote says otherwise.
- Prices are in U.S. dollars. Any taxes that apply are your responsibility.
- The Monthly Content Partner plan is priced by quotation. Billing terms are stated in your quote, and unused videos in a month do not carry over unless your quote says so.
- We may pause work if a payment is overdue.
3. Your project brief and materials
- You must give us accurate information and any materials we ask for, on time.
- You confirm that you have the right to use any photos, logos, music, scripts, likenesses or other materials you give us.
- Delays in your feedback or materials can delay delivery.
4. Revisions
- A revision is a set of changes you request to a draft within the agreed scope.
- Starter includes 1 revision. Cinematic Pro includes 2 revisions. Signature Film includes the number of revisions stated in your quote.
- Additional revisions, or changes that restart the concept or script, are quoted separately.
- Because AI results can vary, we cannot promise that a revision will produce an exact result, but we will make reasonable efforts to meet your request.
5. Delivery
- We deliver the final video in the format we agree with you. H.264 MP4 is the default.
- The timeline is set in your quote. Dates depend on you providing materials and feedback on time.
- Delivery is complete when we send you the final file or a download link.
6. Ownership of the final video
- Once you have paid in full, you own the final video. We assign to you all rights we hold in it.
- Until you have paid in full, we keep ownership and you may not publish or use the video.
- We keep ownership of our tools, drafts, prompts, methods and anything we created before or outside your project.
- AI-generated content may not qualify for copyright protection, so ownership does not guarantee exclusive rights. See our AI Disclaimer.
- Third-party tools, fonts, music and other components may have their own license terms that you must follow.
7. Portfolio and promotion
- You give us permission to show the finished work in our portfolio and on our social media.
- If you want your project kept private, tell us in writing before work starts.
8. Cancellations and refunds
- You may cancel at any time by emailing us.
- Because production begins quickly, payments for work already started are not refundable.
- If we cannot deliver a project for a reason within our control, we will refund the part of your payment that relates to work not delivered.
- If you cancel before work starts, we will refund your payment.
9. Acceptable use
- You may not ask us to create content that is unlawful, deceptive, defamatory, hateful, sexually explicit, or that harms children.
- You may not use our work to impersonate a real person, create a fake endorsement or testimonial, or present AI content as real footage in a misleading way.
- We may refuse or stop any project that breaks these rules, and we will refund the part of your payment that relates to work not delivered.
10. Confidentiality
- We will treat non-public information you give us for your project as confidential and use it only to deliver your project.
- This does not apply to information that is already public or that we are legally required to share.
11. Health and other regulated content
- Health and healthcare videos are for education only and are not medical advice, diagnosis or treatment.
- For advertising, health, financial, legal and other regulated content, you are responsible for getting any professional or legal review you need before you publish.
12. Disclaimers and limits of liability
- Our services are provided “as is,” and we do not guarantee any particular result, such as views, sales or search ranking.
- To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, including lost profits.
- To the fullest extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us for the project the claim relates to.
- Nothing in these Terms limits liability that the law does not allow to be limited.
13. Website design and development
- Website projects are scoped in your quote, including pages, features and hosting.
- You are responsible for your own domain, hosting and third-party accounts unless the quote says otherwise.
14. Governing law and disputes
- These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules.
- Please contact us first and give us a chance to resolve any dispute informally.
- Any lawsuit must be brought in the state or federal courts located in Harris County, Texas, unless the law requires otherwise.
15. Changes to these Terms
- We may update these Terms. The updated version will be posted here with a new date.
- A change does not affect a project you have already paid for.
